Close Friends is a conversation between two friends, two afropeans, two artists, in a beauty parlor situated somewhere between Baltimore, Kampala, Lisbon and Geneva. The salon, an intimate and public space, a place where we can talk about anything and everything, a place of care, protection, community, speculation, resistance, cooperation and flamboyance to fight the technologies of domination and reclaim our desires, our imaginations and our stories.
